Steve Maskell

Steve brings a wealth of leadership and operational expertise to Mayfair Finance, with his experience across financial services, technology, education, and innovation. As a hands-on director, Steve draws on more than two decades of experience in driving strategic growth and delivering tailored financial solutions that support businesses at every stage of their journey.

Steve’s background includes senior executive roles across Australasia and Southeast Asia. He is also Chief Operating Officer at Crown Capital, a boutique financial services group specialising in bespoke solutions for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and closely held businesses. His experience in structuring complex financial strategies gives him deep insight into the unique needs of business borrowers.

He has also served as Chief Operating Officer at EdTrIn, a global education and innovation company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, and as Executive Vice President of UNIK, a Malaysian government innovation agency. There, he led initiatives to support SMEs, start-ups, and researchers—strengthening the commercialisation of innovation and fostering public-private collaboration.

As previous CEO of Trilogy Solutions in New Zealand, Steve advised over 75 clients on ERP strategy using Epicor and SAP Business One, helping businesses streamline operations and improve performance—critical experience that underpins his understanding of what drives business success and resilience.
